If any of the mixes contain any samples from the other EJay programmes then you will not be able to hear the full mix unless you have these programmes as well... The mixes are all zipped, because they are faster for you to download. If a mix has any "imported" or "tweeked" samples, they are normally saved into the mix, but it makes the file size much larger. Any message or text that you want to send with your mix will be added as well, unless stated otherwise..

Here's my new tune, hope it's not too big. There's a lot of imported samples in it, so hopefully it will be ok. Been tweeking this for about a month, and I think this one's ready now. Cheers M8.

Bass Mom & Dj CrusadeReview: I am most pleased to review this paticular track!!! This track is on the GLOBAL MUSIC COMMUNITY COMMUNITY IGNITION album and it is absolutely one of my most favored tracks on that album!!! This track gets a solid 10 for its originality and creativity and overall production!!!!!
10

Webmaster Review: Its a great track. It has a nice introduction, love the beat and the scatter piano notes. The theme is excellent with the vocal introducing the next musical phrase. There are clever breaks and use of silence and fx. Love the synth solos and gradually building arrangements and key changes every so often that form a verse chorus structure, with slow introduction of new instruments to keep things moving on. The middle 8 which leads to the main tune again is great. The string break works well. The only thing I would say about this is I would have liked to have heard the female vocal in the middle of that, or even the piano from the start of the track. In fact I would like to have heard the bit at the start with the piano in it again later in the track probably after the strings but this is just my personal opinion. I give the track an 8. Although its a great track for master mp3 I added extra delay, eq and compression, exciters to the exported wave file like a studio recording.

This mix has been on the go for over 2 months, I think I am happy with it(?) It should be called "Tweak, Tweak, and Tweak a bit more" but I though it was a a little silly!!! lol. Bit of a hard dance type of track, but hey!! what do I know:).

Webmaster Review: This track begins with the sound of a beach wave and a siren. Then a few beeps, a drum roll and series of acid fx introduces a main techno drum pattern groove arrangement with occasional siren and other sound fx.37 seconds into the mix a drum roll announces a break followed by the return of the techno groove, this time joined by a driving hi-hat, and catchy rising acid-sample line, forming the main baseline theme for this mix. After 1 minute 14 seconds a drum roll, series of sound effects, and a vox, and a new melody is played during a rest from the drum pattern for a few seconds. After some claps, a crash, other sound effects and a drum roll the main base theme is joined with new catchy rhythmic synth line making things become very exciting. At the 2.28 mark another break and some sound effects announce a new temporary groove consisting of a techno drum pattern and previously unheard bass line. This grooves flows to yet another break, this time with a mellower melody and atmospheric sound effects, combining to indicate a bridge or middle 8 section in the track. An aircraft sound, echo chant vox, and a drum roll announce the start of a new concluding section formed from a techno bass line, various sound effects, mellow pad sounds, and a series of synth lines, sirens. None of these take over to lead and simply add interest character to the flow of the mix, allowing the bass line and drum pattern to lead. The conclusion after 6 minute 48 seconds is a drum roll, a few stabs of the lead bass line playing final melody, and a whoosh down sound effect. This is mix is very clever, as usually too many musical ideas and themes do not work so well but they did in this mix, and the use of fills and atmospheric vox and other sound effects is superb. After my review my score has to rise from 7 out of 10 to 8. I recommend everyone into rhythmic or soundtrack techno has a listen to this very good techno mix.

Been toying around with this one for quite some time. Hope you like it. Thx M8. cya.

Webmaster Review: This track begins with a bleeping rhythmic synth lead line and a pulsing techno bass-line. There is the occasional vox "Stupid, Stupid". After a whoosh at the 36 second mark there is a new vox "Feel the Bass Come Down on Me" followed by another set of fast leads and synth fx over a pounding 4 on the floor bass drum and bass line, which is fairly exciting and foot tapping. After a few seconds into the mix a snare joins the bass drum and eventually forms a roll towards a middle 8 or bridge, beginning with a whoosh the voxes from earlier and a new slow synth lead line. A bass line joins the lead and then the lead line is repeated at a higher octave, before a repeating snare drum enters the mix. 1 minute 58 seconds into the mix a new drum roll on snare then bass drum introduces the first part of the conclusion for "Stupid". This is the slow lead played on a more powerful effected lead synth over the pulsing bass line and pounding bass drum a few seconds later a open hat joining the mix. This section is very danceable. There is another drum roll and a slightly mechanical sound effect followed by the vox soloing over a bass drum and a bass line. The final conclusion (finale) for this track is formed when a very catchy faster rhythmic variation of the lead line from earlier enters the mix. The track finale finishes on a drum thump, the synth line soling and then the vox. Having reviewed I think it is very atmospheric, has great use of fills and sound effects to keep things interesting and has good structure so my score is 7 out of 10 for the time when it was created. This style of techno music was fashionable then, and so I disagree with the 5 out of 10, which was awarded to this mix from the old voting system. I reommend everyone who enjoys 90s pounding techno, early hardcore has a listen.

Here's the remix to my tune "In the Beginning". I added a couple of samples, and messed about with the intro, and decided to take out the drums altogether. I think it works best this way. Cheers m8

Webmaster Review: The mix is very similar to the original except for the already mentioned by the artist, removal of the bass drum in the introduction and a few other things I noticed when I listened again. The section with the pitched bottle metal chime percussion was removed, in favour of one of the other original melodies. Although the removal of the drums in the introduction worked well, overall I preferred the original mix, as it was more interesting so I score this with 6 out of 10. The rest of my review is the same as the original. Patrick Style later improved this mix though here All versions are good so I recommend 90s techno lovers give them a listen.

Sorry m8, Didnt see the link to post, but now I do, will post next time.

Webmaster Review: This mix begins with a whoosh down sound effect, a series of acid like lead line notes and a pulsing deep techno bass line. After 12 seconds a new bleepy synth line and a thumping bass drum pattern enters the mix. 36 seconds into the mix there is an acoustic snare sound, the drums drop for a short break, with the melody, a serious of echoey vox "Break that , break that" followed by "This Is The Beginning". A snare hit announces a new harder flute-like synth sound and a different bass note, then a drum roll leads to the return of the bass drum. A few seconds on and a closed hi hat confirms this is the main theme for this mix. It is very foot tapping and danceable. At the 1 minute mark there is middle 8 or bridge in the form of the bass line from earlier, a pounding bass drum, and some heavily reverbed pitched synthetic metal or glass bottle sound effects playing a series of rhythmic melody lines. After this is complete a drum roll introduces repeats of the vocal line "This is the beginning" , repeated heavy snare hits, and bass drum rolls with the main theme building to a final conclusion. This is a conclusion is effectively a repeat of the main theme gaining in loudness and an occasional reverse cymbal. The mix finally finishes with tape rewind effect, a snare hit, the melody line soloing and the vocal line "This is the Beginning" forming a full stop. To conclude this mix is very well structured, atmospheric with intelligent use of drum rolls and sound effects. The score of 7 out of 10 remains as this track is a very good techno rave track that reflects the popular vibe at the time when it was made. I recommend that everyone has a listen to it if only for nostalgic reasons.

Hi John, Been workin' on this track 4 the last couple of weeks. I reckon I am happy with it now.!! Bit of a hard-dance type I think. Cranked the bpm up a bit with this one!!! :) Cheers, Steve.

Webmaster Review: This track begins with a bassline and a hi-hat roll. Afterwards a 4 on the floor techno bass drum pattern, shortly followed by an accent snare drum, join the bassline. This arrangement is joined by a series of acid techno sounds. The track progress to an acid and bass drum roll 52 second mark, and a series of sound effects which are like an aeroplane rising are heard which add excitement to the mix. The track progress carries on like this until the 1 minute 32 second mark, at which point there is a break in the techno beat, an ethereal vox sample and a series of very atmospheric almost animal cry sounds. The beat returns at the 2 minute 12 second mark and a variation of the original theme returns, with some very interesting synthesiser, bass and arpeggio sounds forming very catchy exciting lead lines at times. The overall sound goes well with the total. After the 5 minute mark the conclusion which is the bass line and less sounds, a drum roll followed by the drums dropping, and finally ending on the acid lead and one of the atmospheric synth/animal cry sounds. My score is 8 out of ten because this is an excellent catchy, imaginative techno track.
